Get in the saddle! lLa Maison du Vélo offers several sessions throughout the year, supervised by qualified instructors from the Vélo-école!
BEGINNER LEVEL
You want to learn to ride a bike or you want your child to know how to pedal ? Thanks to an effective teaching method, our special beginner sessions allow you to gradually gain confidence and understand balance, braking, speed, observing your environment…
We offer 2 distinct courses depending on ages:
→ children (between 5 and 11 years old)
→ adolescents/adults (from 12 years old)
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL ! New !
You already know how to pedal but you are scared to ride in town? In 2024, the Maison du Vélo is opening new courses so that you can be independent when traveling by bike.
→ adolescent/adult (from 12 years old)
COURSE PROCESS
Duration: a session consists of 4 sessions of 1 hour each, spread over several days or weeks.
Location: Toulouse (change of location depending on the sessions).
- Argoulets district: the meeting point is in front of the Alex Jany swimming pool, 7 chemin du Verdon, 31500 Toulouse (100 meters from Argoulets subway station).
- Cartoucherie district: rue de l’Abbé Jules Lemire (200 meters away from the Hippodrome Tramway stop).
Equipment provided: 1 bike and 1 helmet.
Number of places: 12 people maximum per group.
Document to provide: your Civil Liability certificate.

Price :
50€* or 65€ for four sessions + adhesion to La Maison du Vélo (10€* or 15€)
* Beneficiaries of social minima, jobseekers, students, non-taxable persons, single parents, asylum seekers, persons with disabilities, young people under 30.
